NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
before the
CITY OF WILDWOOD
HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION
May 28, 2026 (Thursday), at 6:30 p.m.The Historic Preservation Commission of the City of Wildwood will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, May 28, 2026, in the City Hall Council Chambers, 16860 Main Street, Wildwood, Missouri 63040, and also via an online meeting platform (Zoom - link is available on City's website), for the purposes of obtaining testimony regarding the final draft of the Wildwood Historic Preservation Plan.
Input collected at the hearing will be taken into consideration prior to the plan's adoption at the Planning and Zoning Commission and ratification and endorsement at Wildwood City Council. This hearing is open to all interested parties to comment on the draft plan, whether in favor or opposition, or provide additional input for consideration. If you do not have comments regarding this request, no action is required on your part. If you do want to offer input, written comments are encouraged and should be addressed to the Historic Preservation Commission, City of Wildwood, 16860 Main Street, Wildwood, Missouri 63040, or can be submitted via the City's website at http://www.cityofwildwood.com/comment.
Residents and interested parties can participate as part of this public hearing in person, at City Hall, within the Council Chambers (16860 Main Street), or remotely by joining the meeting at the following link (also available in heading of posted online agenda): https://us02web.zoom.us/j/86832085819. The meeting can also be viewed on the City's YouTube Channel at www.cityofwildwood.com/YouTube. Instructions on how to identify yourself for participation in the public hearing will be provided at the start of the proceeding.

Final Draft of the Wildwood Historic Preservation Plan, c/o Department of Planning, 16860 Main Street, Wildwood, Missouri 63040 - This public hearing is being held to collect input on the final draft of the City's historic preservation plan, which can be found at www.cityofwildwood.com/historicpreservationplan, along with a listing of relevant dates and meetings leading to the plan's adoption. This plan will serve to better integrate the City's historic preservation program into the City's master planning efforts, related government processes, and community initiatives. It will provide milestones and a timeline for preservation goals, as well as determine the status of commercial and residential historic properties. This material was produced with assistance from the Historic Preservation Fund, administered by the National Park Service, Department of the Interior, of the U.S. Government and Missouri Department of Natural Resources, State Historic Preservation Office.
