INVITATION FOR BIDSSealed bids for 2026 Tree Planting will be received by the City of Des Peres, City Clerk's Office, until 2:00 P.M., on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud in Council Chambers, City Hall, 12325 Manchester Rd, Des Peres MO 63131. Two copies of the bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the project name, date, and time of opening clearly written on the envelope. The Scope of Work includes the planting of street trees. The trees to be planted must be of various species and size as detailed in the bid documents. They will be replacements trees previously removed by contract or City crews. The City will perform all stump grinding in advance of planting The project budget is $125,000, and quantities will be adjusted to stay within budget. It is anticipated that a contract would be taken to the Board of Aldermen for approval at their October 12th meeting. Planting must take place in November and December.
