Public Notice Jefferson County Public Hearing and 30 Day Comment Period 2026-2030 Consolidated Plan and 2026 Action PlanEvery five years Jefferson County prepares a Consolidated Plan as a condition of receiving federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding from HUD. The Consolidated Plan is carried out via five one-year Annual Action Plans which serve as the County's annual funding applications to HUD for the allocation of federal funds to meet community housing and development needs. This year Jefferson County will be submitting the 2026-2030 Consolidated Plan and 2026 Annual Action Plan to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). This notice is to inform the public that the following projects have been selected to be funded with the County's FY 2026 CDBG allocation of $1,094,044: Projects proposed for the 2026 Action Plan Amount 2026 Home Rehabilitation $150,000 2026 Private Sanitary Sewer System Replacement Program $75,000 2026 HANDICAP/ADA Public Facility Assistance Program, Public Service allowed up to 15% $150,236 2026 Sewer Infrastructure Program (Sanitary Sewer Infrastructure (SSI) $250,000 2026 Storm Water Infrastructure Program (Storm Water Control Measures (SCM) $250,000 2026 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Administration allowed up to 20% $218,808 Public Comment Period: The Draft 2026-2030 Consolidated Plan and the Draft 2026 Annual Action Plan will be available for public review and comment from July 1, 2026 to July 30, 2026. The plans will be made available at the Jefferson County Missouri Web Site, jeffcomo.org. Name of plan: 2026-2030 Consolidated CDBG Plan. The plan will also be emailed to Jefferson County municipalities and Jefferson County Libraries requesting they post this plan to their web sites.
