ADA Accessible Park Improvements.

Invitation to Bid for ADA Accessible Park Improvements at City of Wildwood’s Community ParkThe City of Wildwood (the City) is currently accepting sealed bids for "ADA Accessible Park Improvements." Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked on the outside - ADA Accessible Park Improvements. Bid Opening will be on: February 25, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. (CST) At Wildwood City Hall - Community Room - 16860 Main Street (63040) Bid Packages are available on-line at www.cityofwildwood.com and at City Hall - Receptionist Desk during normal business hours - 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (CST) The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and/or combination, thereof, and to waive any minor irregularities. Bidder shall be an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer and must have Affirmative Action Statement. These completed forms must be submitted in the bid packet at time of submission. This activity is funded in whole or in part with Community Development Block Grant funds pursuant to Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended. All applicable federal regulations shall be in full force and effect. Be advised that contracts over $200,000 trigger Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968. Section 3 requires that economic opportunities generated by the expenditure of HUD funds be directed, to the greatest extent feasible, to low and moderate income persons via contracting, employment and training. All contractors and subcontractors working on this project will need to demonstrate compliance with Section 3 numeric targets and other applicable provisions. In cases where Section 3 compliance is not achieved, contractors and subcontractors must document good-faith efforts to comply. The proposed work includes the furnishing of materials, tools, equipment, and labor necessary for the installation of: 1. One (1) adult changing station in the family restroom; and 2. Two (2) Communication Boards (23" x 64") installation on existing playground; and 3. Approximately 200 square feet of flatwork required to improve ADA seating and mobility. in accordance with the specifications and other items identified in the contract documents at the following location: Community Park 17155 Pond Grover Parkway Wildwood, Missouri 63038 In accordance with the Davis-Bacon Act, and the Missouri Prevailing Wage Law, the Contractor will be required to comply with the wage and labor requirements and to pay minimum wages in accordance with the schedule of wage rates established by the United States Department of Labor and the Missouri Division of Labor Standards, respectively. The highest rate between the two (Federal and State) for each job classification shall be considered the prevailing wage. No bid may be withdrawn within thirty (30) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The City will only concur with awarding the contract to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder, except in instances where a bid from a section 3 / MBE / WBE is within 10% of the lowest bidder. The City reserves the right to prioritize and remove individual properties from the scope of work and proceed with the remaining property or properties on the basis of the costs provided for individual properties set forth on the bid form.
